Kamal Haasan, who was recently felicitated by the film fraternity for completing '50 years' in the film industry, is buoyed by the box-office success of his latest film 'Unnaipol Oruvan'. Set to music by his daughter, the multi-faceted Shruti Haasan, 'Unnaipol…' has been running to packed houses all over the State, thanks to the racy screenplay.
Kamal is said to be planning his next film as short as 'Unnaipol Oruvan' and might be directed by K.S. Ravikumar.
Ravikumar, whose films do have many sentimental sequences, may or may not agree to Kamal's proposal for making a film whose length is less-than-usual. Trisha and Tamannaah are said to be the frontrunners for the choice of heroines to pair up opposite 'Ulaganayagan'. Tamannaah is said to be seeking Rs.1 crore, which has made the makers turn to Trisha, who too is demanding nothing less than the coveted mark.
